As a further gesture of support for children with cancer I am donating 25 per cent of my sales from this web site from Friday 26th 2010 to Sunday 28th November 2010 to The Scots Australian Children's Cancer Trust which supports child cancer units in Scotland, Australia and the developing world. It was set up by the family and friends of infant Joseph MacDermid who was diagnosed with a brain tumour shortly after his parents emigrated to Australia from Scotland. On the Friday evening one of my paintings 'A Moonlit Winter Dusk, Glasgow Harbour' will be auctioned at a fund-raising dinner at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow, for World Child Cancer which twins child cancer units in the UK, USA and South America with others in the developing world. Around 90 per cent of children with cancer in these poorer countries die without treatment or pain relief.

RUpdate!!! Well everyone a BIG BIG thank your to all, a grand total of £900 was raised over this weekend, onwards an upwards to an exhibition in London for the same worthy cause.
In May 2011 I made the venture down to London for an exhibition in http://www.thegallerysoho.com/ in aid of World Child Cancer, quite a trip for a 1 man 1 night show, but in the end £765 was raised for WCC.
In August year 'Last Of The Clyde Summer' went into auction at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. I could not make it along on the night and its not the done thing to ask how much the painting raised but fingers crossed it was a good amount!
During December 2011 'Golden Dusk, Toronto' will be auctioned online with ICAP http://www.icap.com/ICAP-Charity-Day.aspx?cDt=2011-11-8-9-42
Starting midnight Thursday 24th November 2011 to midnight Sunday 27th November I will be running the online event where 25% of any sales from this webpage will be given to World Child Cancer, hopefully will be even busier than last year!
